GHANI & ROSLI
I was the lead guitarist for one of the world's most famous band - GHANI AND ROSLI. Our hit song, "Anak Manisku" ruled the billboard charts for 30 seconds (at least that's what our manager led me to believe).
Here's another photo during one of the album photo shoot. I had one too many tuak! But who cares? I'm a rocker, through and through!

DISNEY ANIMATOR / THE REAL LION KING
it's me again. many do not believe that I worked for Disney as an animator. I worked there for some time in the past. I've worked on many projects but the most memorable assignment happened in early 1993, while I was working on The Lion King.
working on The Lion King was an amazing experience. I've never seen a lion my entire life. so, the studio sent me on a trip to Africa to draw lions and observe them in the wild. I went to the wild, alone, armed only with pencils, a Leica camera and a sketch pad.
being an expert animal ranger/tracker, it took me only 20 minutes to find a pride of lions. everything went well for the first half an hour. then, one of the lion cubs approached me. I played with it for a moment and that's when all hell broke loose.
the cubs mother and another lioness ran towards me and started attacking. I did not want to hurt it but after 50+ minutes of struggling, I was left with no choice but to defend myself. so I punched the two wild lioness. here's a picture I took after the incident.
I was left with only a few minor scratches. on my way to the hotel, I walk pass an African village where the village headman was shocked to see me and was in utter disbelief after he heard what had happened to me. he later gathered all the tribesmen and bestowed me with an African name meaning "THE LION KING".
when I returned to the studio, I told the directors, Roger and Rob about that incident. after they heard of my African name, they really liked it...A LOT! so they changed the original title of the movie, which was "King of the Jungle" to "The Lion King". here's proof of the original title:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110357/trivia
and the rest as they say, is history!
here are my other photos from the years I worked there.
I really enjoyed my work as an animator with Disney and was quite sad when I left. gossips started flying around that I was dating one of the Disneyland staffs. so, to reduce the office tension, I had to go. by the way, in case you're wondering, here's her picture:

WENG SUPRA
I was in Tokyo last April to attend the 4oth Tokyo Auto Show. guess what? my car which I welded by hand for 6 months in 2007 was part of the exhibition! I crafted my car from a Nissan Z. I added my 4x4 touches onto it and VOILA! the BEAST was born!
the toughest part of this endeavor was making sure the spotlights were not too bright. I learned this the hard way though - I was given a ticket because the lights caused 2 policemen to collide with one another and hit a Sarawak press reporter (who was buying some vegetables) in the process. the reporter was left with only minor bruises and upon seeing me, giving me major curses (the Sarawak press has a lot of beef with me).
moving on, the Japanese Prime Minister awarded my car as "Best Hand-Crafted Car That Doesn't Make Sense Whatsoever". the award is the first of it's kind.
I made my country proud....AGAIN!

PILOT TRAINING DVDs
hello again!
remember when I went to Australia to train their pilots? to be frank, though I love teaching them, I'm tired of traveling here and there to teach people how to fly. I have many things to do and people to visit, yada...yada...yada...
so, one day, while I was having breakfast @ Man's, I had an epiphany - I want to share my experience with the whole world. which led up to the creation of this DVD set.
it took me 2 hours to prepare the DVD content, 1/2 hours to edit it but 13 weeks to burn the DVDs. it took me 13 weeks to burn the DVDs because on the last day of week 13, I finally realized my video tape recorder cannot burn DVDs. finally, I just send my master copy to a local DVD burner company to burn my DVDs.
so, after all that, my labor of love was born. it is called...drum roll, please...
"Flying Without Wengs - Now You Can Fly Too!"
I teach the basics and by the time you're finish with this DVD set, you'll be able to fly a "kereta sorong", "kereta lembu" and an F1 to F22 Raptor.
so, get your copy today. available in all DVD cornershops.

KUEH TIAW GORENG
THE DENTIST
one of my office colleagues had a nasty toothache two days ago. I wanted to help but I didn't finish my dentistry study.
quite coincidentally, last night, I met an old friend of mine. He said that I hadn't aged much (maybe it's because I have too much fun doing many things).
he is a very good friend. we studied dentistry together in Singapore. I don't know why or how, but my lecturer fell in love with me. to be fair with the other students, with a heavy heart, I left. and that's why I didn't finish my study in dentistry.
before my friend left last night, he gave me a photo of me during one of my classes. we took it using the new Mouth-Cam, developed by NATO. I scanned the picture for you to enjoy.
NGAP SAYOT!
Hello again
I was having coffee in Paris the other day with Jacques Chirac. He is a soccer fan so I told him that I was the Sarawak goalkeeper during the NGAP SAYOT era. I showed him some of my photos (the ones you see here). He pat me in the back and was very honored to be in the presence of the legendary Sarawak keeper! so I signed a picture (the last picture above) for him to say thank you.
Chirac then searched the internet for more photos of me with the Sarawak team. there were none of course, because the Sarawak press cameras always blew up when they took a picture of me.
by the way, remember when Awang Mahyan jumped from the Satok bridge? it was my idea but the Sarawak press refused to publish it because I destroyed all their cameras with my aura.
HEROES CAMEO!
Hi guys!
the "Heroes" director called me last month and asked if I could make an appearance in an episode. so I drove to New York in my 4x4. by the way, I managed to conquer Everest on my way to New York (see previous posts).
when I arrived at the set, Masi Oka (the guy who played Hiro Nakamura) was very happy to see me. he could not "seleep" the day before because he was very eager to see me. he said that I was his HERO and he learns of my life from this blog. I signed my infamous autograph on his glasses and I'm so happy to be able to make him happy.
I am very happy to be on the set. it was a very good day indeed. on my way back home, the Spielberg called me and asked if I could work on his new movie next year. well....I'll think about it!
anyways, here's my picture on season 8, episod #9364. Enjoy!

PILOT TRAINING IN AUSTRALIA
I was very busy these few weeks.
last week, the Australian Air Force called me to ask for my assistance to train their fighter pilots. I agreed. the problem with their pilots is they do not understand the new flight software that I helped developed with the AirBus company.
it took me just 3days to teach them. and the Australian Air Force was so pleased that they decided to put my name on one of the Army airports. I'm very happy and now its' been proven that "MALAYSIA BOLEH!"
CHICAGO GAY PARADE
VOTE FOR ME!!~
during the National Elections, I was invited by my CM to be one of his candidates. The truth is I didn't want to. this is because I have places to go, people to visit.
however, the CM insisted. my reputation proceeds me. he read my blog and heard the stories. as you can read and see from my blog, I'm contributing immensely to the earth, ocean, mountains, world wonders and even outer space!! so, why not give it a try, right?

but the Sarawak press still remembers me. the camera damage incident years ago is still etched in their memory. so, the designed the above poster. this is character assassination! so, I relented. a sad day for Malaysia indeed...
